Tackett Creek Trails

This is the newest addition of the North Cumberland WMA which features 43,000 acres of old mining and logging roads that wind through mountainous terrain. Most of the trails form long scenic loops which takes riders near large boulder formations, abandoned mines, rock gardens, creek crossing sand even a few waterfalls. There are multiple trailheads and ways to access this location. The trails are open year-round but during hunting season riders and passengers are required to wear blazer orange vests.
